Mangawhai Overview

Mangawhai boasts a lengthy, tubular left-hand bar (with sporadic brief rights) capable of delivering top-tier surf conditions. This bar excels during the low incoming tide and experiences significant currents. To the north of the entrance, a right-hand reef/point break beside the rocks also offers quality waves, followed by beach breaks further north. The town features an outstanding skatepark.
