Pātea Overview

Nestled midway between Opunake and Whanganui in South Taranaki lies a beach break. The breakwall generates fine peaks, with the river's south side offering the best conditions. Inside the river, a commendable right can be found. It's somewhat open to SW swells and thrives with NNE offshore winds.
