Murdering Bay Overview

Extraordinary right-hand point break north of Otago Harbour. Requires a substantial NE swell to come alive. Offers enjoyable rides for grommets and longboarders in smaller conditions. South winds make it offshore. Tends to attract crowds. Comparable, though not as superior, surf spots are available along the coast.
