Our forecasts are sourced from leading meteorological data providers and updated regularly. However, ocean conditions can change rapidly — always use your own judgement and check local conditions before entering the water.

Why is a webcam offline?

Webcam feeds are provided by third-party operators. Cameras may go offline due to maintenance, weather damage, or connectivity issues. We monitor availability and restore feeds as quickly as possible.

Can I request a new surf spot?

Yes! Email us at support@camjam.co.nz with the spot name, region, and any available webcam or forecast information. We're always expanding our coverage.

How do surf alerts work?

Subscribe to alerts for your favourite spots and we'll notify you when conditions match your preferences — wave height, wind direction, and tide.
